A COAST-TO-COAST

        DIRECTORY PLATFORM

Yellow Pages Group has created a national platform of print and online directories, which gives us a unique geographic positioning for a media company in Canada. Today, we are the incumbent directory publisher in Québec, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, the Territories and Atlantic Canada, through Aliant ActiMedia.

Complementing our core print products, YPG's online directories and other web sites are visited by one in three online Canadians each month¹. Usage is strong in every province, particularly in Québec where one in two online Québeckers visit YPG sites on a monthly basis.

YPG's coast-to-coast presence means that almost all Canadians have access to a Yellow Pages™ branded directory. We believe this is a benefit given the high level of trust that Canadians have demonstrated towards Yellow Pages™ directories. On the web, Canadians now have access to more complete content for finding local merchants. This will become even more advantageous when YPG launches a new search engine in 2006.

National and regional advertisers also stand to benefit from YPG's unique national presence. We are focusing on initiatives to facilitate multi-market buying for these advertisers. These include the standardization of the Company's products across markets and the development of exclusive products for national advertisers.

YPG's unique national positioning also makes it a stronger partner for companies such as MSN-Sympatico, Google and Yahoo with whom we already have distribution agreements. The local business content that we provide to our partners is unequalled, and is the result of having a sales force in excess of 850 people. Through them, we have long-standing relationships with over 381,000 advertisers across the country, enabling us to gather content that is not only rich in terms of its depth, but also up-to-date and relevant for today's consumers.
