Chris Long

Vice-President – Sales, Central Canada

Chris Long joined Yellow Pages Group as Vice President – Sales, Central Canada in July, 2010. He brings to his position more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and directory businesses.

For more than 18 years of his career, Chris Long held various senior level sales and executive positions with Yellow Pages Group’s predecessor company, Bell Actimedia. As the company’s Vice President, Middle East & Africa, he was responsible for a group of five directory publishing companies with more than 500 employees. Earlier in his sales career at Bell Actimedia, he was recognized as a consistent top achiever and was inducted into the prestigious Presidents Gold Circle and later achieved 4th Plateau status.

Prior to rejoining the company, Mr. Long worked abroad for METCO Networks (Middle East Telecommunications Company) where he served as Chief Executive Officer at the company’s headquarters in Kuwait. In recent years, he also served as Vice President Sales – Central Canada at MTS Allstream (formerly AT&T Canada) where he helped lead the company through their transformation to an IP convergence organization.

Chris Long holds an HBA from Seneca College and was a member of the varsity baseball team that competed in a NCAA division 2 conference in the US Northeast.
