autoTRADER.ca Mobile App Now Available To BlackBerry® Users

Toronto (Ontario), October 27, 2010 — BlackBerry users now have mobile access to Canada’s largest car selection in Canada. The new user-friendly BlackBerry autoTRADER.ca application is available for free in both English and French and provides fast, simple browsing by vehicle model and keyword as well as single-touch calling functionality and location-based shopping.  A Facebook® social plugin helps make this app fun and interactive, as users can share their vehicle preference with their friends and family.

“BlackBerry users will be able to save time since they’ll have access to autoTRADER.ca’s large selection of models on-the-go, without having to visit multiple locations or consult multiple websites to find information,” said Stéphane Marceau, Chief Marketing Officer. “They will even be able to engage their friends and family in helping them choose a car via social media features.”

The Blackberry app can be downloaded using BlackBerry App World™ and it gives access to over 200,000 vehicles to BlackBerry users, regardless of their location. Users can get help from friends and family in selecting their dream vehicle: they can share vehicle details and photos with their network by forwarding a link, sending a message, or adding a comment using the Facebook share feature.

The app also enables users to post ads, set up alerts, search recreational vehicle listings, and filter search results by year, price range and mileage. It also gives map and driving directions to dealers.

The autoTRADER.ca mobile app launched for iPhone in May 2010, and has seen over 120,000 downloads to date. The app has consistently ranked amongst the Top 10 Canadian free lifestyle apps.
