Yellow Pages Group Launches New Custom Delivery Program

Consumers now have the choice of how to receive their Yellow Pages™ directory

Montreal (Quebec), June 18, 2009 – Yellow Pages Group (YPG) announced today the launch of its new Custom Delivery Program. The company now offers households the possibility to easily customize their directory delivery. Through this program, Canadians can increase the number of print Yellow Pages™ directory copies wanted, select which of the directories available in their area they want to receive or remove their name from the distribution list.

“Research shows that a majority of Canadians continue to use and value their
Yellow Pages™ directory,” said Marc P. Tellier, President and Chief Executive Officer, Yellow Pages Group. “However, as a growing number of consumers turn to online local search tools to find local businesses, we want to offer them the choice to choose in which format they wish to receive our rich directory content. Our Custom Delivery Program is all about offering Canadians more options to find local businesses, anywhere, anytime, through our multiple platforms, namely print, online or mobile.”

The content of Yellow Pages™ print directories is available online at YellowPages.ca™ and Canada411.ca™, on mobile devices at mobile.yp.ca, via text messaging 411411 or through new YellowPages.ca Blackberry®, Apple iPhone™ and Google™ Android™ applications. “Whatever way consumers choose to find a local business, chances are the search result ends up on our advertisers’ pages – whether the consumer knows it or not,” added Mr. Tellier.

Canadian households can easily customize their directory delivery by completing the online form at http://www.ypg.com/delivery or contacting YPG’s Distribution Call Centre at 1-800-268-5637. This program only applies to YPG’s directories across the country.

Commitment to the Environment
In addition to addressing consumers’ evolving needs, the Custom Delivery Program is in line with YPG’s commitment to the environment and the company’s participation in the Changing the World, One Step at a Time program developed by Équiterre and supported by Green Communities Canada. This initiative encourages people and businesses to take steps to have a positive impact on the environment and the society.

YPG reminds Canadians to recycle their old directories once the new ones arrive at their doorstep. Yellow Pages™ directories are completely recyclable, and the outdated editions can be disposed of as part of regular municipal recycling pickup.

Further information about YPG’s environmental program can be found at http://www.ypg.com/environment.
