Vice President - Supply Chain & Logistics

D. Lorne Richmond was named Vice President Supply Chain & Logistics in September 2008. He occupied, during the previous 15 years, two other significant positions within Yellow Pages Group and predecessor companies, Bell ActiMedia and Tele-Direct as Vice President Operations and Director Manufacturing and Contract Administration. As Vice President Supply Chain & Logistics, he is responsible for manufacturing and distribution.

As Vice President Operations, Mr. Richmond was responsible for various key segments of the company's activities, such as the capture and management of Yellow Pages Group's customer data for the company's print and online directories, creation of the advertising content in those directories and printing and distribution functions.

Upon promotion as a Vice President in 1997, Lorne Richmond had already accumulated almost a decade of experience within the Yellow Pages Group and predecessor companies, as Director Manufacturing and Contract Administration. Before joining Tele-Direct, he was Circulation Manager at The Globe and Mail newspaper for seven years and, prior to that, Operations Manager at a freight forwarding company.

Mr. Richmond earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto in 1974. Outside of his professional life, he utilizes his knowledge and skills in assisting two organizations as a member of their boards. He is a Board Member of Corporations Supporting Recycling (CSR), in Ontario, an organization that supports an integrated waste management approach to recycling. He is also a Board Member of ABC Canada Literacy Foundation, a national non-profit organization whose goal is to raise awareness for literacy among the general public, and in the media and private sector.

Lorne lives in Brampton, Ontario with his wife Jackie and their four children.
