David Toms Vice President - Sales, Central Region

David Toms was appointed to the role of Vice President, Sales, Ontario, of Yellow Pages Group in
January, 2007.

With more than 25 years of sales and general management experience, Mr. Toms currently leads Yellow Pages Group's Ontario and Manitoba sales force who serves thousands of print and online directory advertising customers across these provinces.

Before joining Yellow Pages Group, Mr. Toms held several senior sales and general management roles with Metafore IT Solutions, EMC Corporation and Dell Computer Corporation.

Mr. Toms has an impressive track record developing and growing business within the information technology sector. At Dell Computer Corporation, as Vice President, Public Sector Practice, his team led the business to triple digit growth.  Mr. Toms also held a number of senior management positions in Asia and the U.S. Mr. Toms was instrumental in the improvement of the Dell Computer Corporation Asia Pacific region server/storage business with responsibility for all consulting, technical sales and management.

More recently, Mr. Toms was Director, Business Development at Metafore IT Solutions in Canada where he established a growth strategy for the company. He focused on building a customer segmentation model and assisted in the rolling out of a new sales territory planning model across Canada.

David Toms has a Business Administration diploma in Marketing from Ryerson University, Toronto.
