Nicolas Lavoie Vice President - Finance and Treasurer

Nicolas Lavoie was appointed Vice President, Finance and Treasurer in March 2007. He joined Yellow Pages Group in 2004 and has over 12 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury and financial risk management.

In his current role, Mr. Lavoie oversees financing activities, cash management, financial risk management, pension asset management as well as corporate planning and merger and acquisitions.  Mr. Lavoie leads a team that is instrumental in maintaining the Company’s strong corporate relationships with rating agencies, the investment banking industry and the broader investment community.

Prior to joining Yellow Pages Group, Mr. Lavoie was Assistant Treasurer with Quebecor World Inc., one of the world’s largest printing company. In his various corporate finance and treasury roles at Quebecor World,
Mr. Lavoie had international responsibilities in the financing, cash management and financial risk management areas. He has been instrumental in the implementation of several financing strategies in a number of countries, and in the optimization of liquidity on a global basis. He also spent more than three years based in Switzerland.

Mr. Lavoie also held a number of positions in accounting and treasury with Société générale de financement du Québec, a Québec government industrial and financial holding corporation that contributes directly to the development of the Québec economy through investment in development capital.

Nicolas Lavoie holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA). He holds a Bachelor of Administration in Finance and Accounting from Laval University (Quebec City).
