Montreal (Québec), February 19, 2008 – Yellow Pages Group (YPG) through Yellow Pages Income Fund (TSX: YLO.UN) announced today that it has acquired the directory business from TBayTel, a leading telecommunications company in Thunder Bay and Northern Ontario. This transaction closed on February 19, 2008.
“YPG has been selling and producing the TBayTel directory since 1982. We know the business very well and this acquisition was the next logical step for us,” stated Scott Wambolt, Senior Vice President, Sales of Yellow Pages Group. “We will continue to provide the high level of service that we have always offered to both users and advertisers in the Thunder Bay community.”
TBayTel publishes the City of Thunder Bay directory for a circulation of over 120,000 copies.
