Yellow Pages Group Recognized for Having One of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures for the Fourth Consecutive Year

Montreal (Quebec), November 25, 2008 – For the fourth year in a row, Yellow Pages Group (YPG) has earned the distinction of being one of Canada’s 10 most admired corporate cultures. According to a study conducted by Waterstone Human Capital, YPG was highly rated most notably for its global vision, as well as for its values, leadership, and operational and financial performance.

“We place tremendous importance on our corporate culture,” underlines Marc P. Tellier, President and Chief Executive Officer of Yellow Pages Group, “and we strive to enable our employees to evolve within a work environment that promotes open communication and transparency. Moreover, in order to tangibly integrate our corporate culture into our daily activities, we have implemented a number of valuable initiatives that are fully aligned with our values, such as our employee recognition program.”

To maintain its leadership position, YPG is firmly dedicated to consistently working hand-in-hand with its employees to build a strong corporate culture based on six fundamental values: customer focus, competing to win, teamwork, passion, respect and open communication.

After becoming an independent company in 2002 and going public in 2003, Yellow Pages Group undertook a comprehensive review of its internal culture and, today, has grown to be the largest organization operating in the Canadian media sector. YPG is also recognized by its peers as being one of the world’s most innovative and profitable companies in its industry.

Companies designated as being one of Canada’s 10 most admired corporate cultures will retain that ranking for a period of three years.

In addition, Yellow Pages Group has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the past three years by McLean’s Magazine, as one of the Top 10 best companies to work for by the Financial Post, and as one of the 15 best employers in Montreal by The Gazette and Le Devoir.
