Toronto (Ontario), May 4, 2009 – Yellow Pages Group has selected TAXI Canada Inc. to develop and launch its new communications platform for its print, online and mobile Yellow Pages™ directories. The account will be handled through TAXI offices TAXI 2, and TAXI Montreal. The media buying and planning has been awarded to PHD Canada and Touché! PHD.
The assignment includes developing a long-term strategy that will encompass Yellow Pages Group’s current and future print, online and mobile products, as well as creative. “The strategic thinking from TAXI and PHD focused exactly on how we need to position our business for future growth”, said Jean-Pascal Lion, Vice President, Marketing at Yellow Pages Group. “We needed partners who shared and understood our vision, and the boundless potential of our brand.”
“Yellow Pages directories are already an essential household staple that people think about when they have a specific need. But Yellow Pages Group’s offering is so much more robust. We want consumers to think about the company’s different platforms regularly and integrate them into their every day lives,” added Jeremy Gayton, VP, General Manager TAXI 2.
The new campaign platform will launch later this year.
